WonderHome Story

The seeds for Wonderhome were broadcasted in 2025, with a deeply dedicated focus on growing community, garden resource sharing, and celebrating abundance. After a year of extensive research on membership models, surveying gardeners of all levels, interviewing experts, and synthesizing feedback…Wonderhome has taken root to emerge in Spring of 2026, the Year of the Firehorse no less! I hope you will join our horticultural herd & ride along as we explore all things garden.

My Approach

My approach chooses a state of AWE & WONER, connects COMMUNITY, looks for and shares ABUNDANCE, inspires CURIOSITY, supports CREATIVITY, values COMMUNITY and celebrates SEASONS & CYCLES.

My approach is highly collaborative. I have surrounded myself and infused WonderHome with a generous circle of creatives and experts (link to collaborators) that believe tending soil and soul, sharing resources and celebrating abundance is an act of resistance to the scarcity and polarizing paradigm being told. Gardening in community is a political act and the time is now to dig in for peace. We need to dig in together and get to work on Making American Gardens Again. The way we treat the land upon where we live has always told profound stories. My approach is uniting people through plants, and Wonderhome is this place of connection.

Testimonials.

Let Others Inspire You.

"Paige and Rebecca (another Woho member) helped me create a brand new container garden along the walking path to my studio to grow bulbs and vines.  Mid-morning we loaded up in Paige’s truck and headed to the local farm supply store and hardware store to purchase large troughs, metal drill bits for drainage holes, and soil and compost for planting. With supplies gathered, we paused for a lovely lunch before diving into the installation phase. This is where three people and a lift gated truck made all the difference!  By mid-afternoon I was planting my new bulbs. Paige’s project management skills paired with her fun-loving personality made for both a productive and pleasant day with fellow garden friends."

"I was the lucky recipient of 2 mature Japanese Maples transplanted from another Wonderhome Garden. These trees were big and had been carefully pruned for many years, offering instant structure to a newly planted area of  my garden. Two matching specimen trees of this size and quality would have cost me over a thousand dollars at a retail nursery! This transplanting project required multiple people and project management guidance. I am happy to report that, many years later, these beautiful transplants  are absolutely thriving."
